Margot Robbie Oscar Contender with Babylon

CINEMA NEWS – Margot Robbie (Scandal, Me, Tonya) has already been nominated for an Oscar twice, and she may get it a third time if she is nominated for the award for her role in Babylon.

 

Eric Roberts (Julia Roberts’ brother), who plays the father of Robbie‘s character in the film, is in any case one of the big pushers, in his opinion, the actress gives a landmark performance as Elizabeth Taylor in the 1966 Edward Albee adaptation of We Are Not Afraid of the Wolf!, for which she won an Oscar. “It’s just amazing,” Roberts told The Hollywood Reporter. “I could hardly believe that he could be so brilliant all the time.”

In Babylon, Robbie plays an up-and-coming actress: Nellie LaRoy willing to do anything to be a big star in 1920s Hollywood to be The official synopsis of the 189-minute film is very promising: “A tale of excessive ambition and sky-high debauchery, in which we can follow the rise and ugly fall of many characters in the period of unrestrained and self-destructive early Hollywood”.
