In Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning’s New BTS Clip, Tom Cruise Does The Impossible [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – Tom Cruise risks his life for our entertainment in this stunt footage from the first Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning.

Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise once again risks life and limb for the sake of cinematic entertainment. This lengthy behind-the-scenes look at Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One was released via Twitter. The video gives an insight into what it takes to get Cruise thrown out of planes or thrown off a mountaintop. All activities the actor seems to love doing absolutely. It’s possible he loves them a bit too much.

Looking behind the scenes, Tom Cruise and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One director Christopher McQuarrie are putting everything in place to pull off “the greatest stunt in cinema history”.

The scene begins with Cruise jumping out of a helicopter (somewhat surprisingly, with a parachute). He then drives at high speed on a motorbike down a ramp that happens to be on the edge of a cliff. He releases the motorbike while flying through the air, and then, in the stunt’s final part, Cruise does a base jump. Just reading the details is sure to give you an adrenaline rush.

The clip reveals that Cruise performed the stunt a total of six times in one day in collaboration with expert stuntmen from various disciplines.

It’s clear that Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie are set to push the boundaries of action further than ever before in Ethan Hunt’s latest adventure, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Although not much is known about the story yet, we can expect a severe amount of action and great visuals. Once again, Ethan Hunt and his team find themselves in the thick of trouble.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is scheduled to be released in the US on 14 July 2023 by Paramount Pictures. The sequel, (presumably) “Dead Reckoning Part Two”, is expected to arrive on 28 June 2024.
