Cal Koboh’s raging on planet shows his new light saber capabilities, but Blaster is not on the horizon.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will continue to be released soon, though slightly later than originally expected. Fans will have to wait six weeks compared to the original March 17 release, as Respawn will finish the final touches on the much-awaited sequel. In the meantime, we can show at least nine minutes of new gameplay from IGN.
Each new shot takes place on the planet Koboh, where Cal Kestis and BD-1 are looking for something. They remind us of Cal’s abilities on the wall before we can look at one of his new combat positions. Two-handed lightsaber returns from the first game with updated combos that make cruel cross strikes and knocks, and the double -blade lightsaber (or lightsaber stick) returns as a powerful AOE ability.
We know that Cal will have five different lightsaber positions, including the two above, a simple standard lightsaber, a cross -style heavy sword similar to Kylo Rene, and one with a blaster in one hand and a light sword in the other. We can’t see Blaster in the nine-minute play, but Cal can shorten monsters and droids without simply throwing two lightsaber at once.
The recording shows two interesting new power skills. The first is a large deceleration area affecting all enemies around Cal – a significant step forward compared to the first game slowdown. We see Cal uses this ability to eliminate a team of four-legged monsters and then use a larger team of droids. And he also has a new ability to replace the capacity for perfect evasion used in the first game, perhaps to strengthen Cal’s development as a stronger force manager.
Although we haven’t seen it in action, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor director Stig Asmussen, in a recent interview, promised to have a long -awaited mechanics from fans: a quick trip.
“We will also have quick travel and riding creatures to get players quickly from point to B and back to the point,” Asmussen said. “Fast travel is from point to point, and riding creatures give you a way to navigate between points and explore the things between them quickly.”
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor arrives on April 28.
