Jonathan Majors In Serious Trouble – More Former Victims Reported To The DA’s Office!

MOVIE NEWS – The latest domestic violence case of Jonathan Majors escalates as more alleged victims cooperate with prosecutors.

The situation of Jonathan Majors is only getting worse as several alleged abuse victims have come forward to cooperate with prosecutors ahead of his possible court appearance. Variety reports that several alleged victims are cooperating with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office ahead of Majors’ May 8 court appearance. In addition, it is entirely possible that more may come forward.

This comes shortly after Majors’ management and publicist dropped the actor earlier this week, less than a month before his scheduled court appearance in May.

Majors has been a rising star over the past year, reaching astronomical heights with his starring role alongside Michael B. Jordan in Creed III and his MCU movie debut in Ant-Man 3. But as Majors’ situation worsens, Disney and Marvel Studios may start looking for Kang’s replacement. He’s already filming scenes for Loki season 2. He’s also the title character in the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, set to premiere in 2025.

As Variety notes, the alleged victim of domestic violence in Manhattan mentioned earlier was also a member of the Ant-Man film crew. Moreover, the actor has already become persona non grata in professional circles. He has also been dropped from Protagonist Pictures’ The Man in My Basement, and the MLB Texas Rangers have decided not to continue their advertising campaign featuring the Majors. A source told Variety, “I think the truth is everyone is waiting to see what Marvel will do. It doesn’t mean everyone will do the same thing, but that’s what people are looking to.”

Jonathan Majors tried in vain to clear his name

Following initial reports of the alleged domestic violence incident, Majors and his lawyer submitted screenshots of text messages between the actor and the alleged victim. The statements were intended to clear the name of Kang’s actor. But they achieved the opposite. The messages said:

“Please let me know you’re okay when you get this. They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they ahd to arrest you as protocol whent hey saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight. I”m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone. I only just got out of hospital. Just call me when you’re out. I love you.”

A further message only made matters worse:

“They just called again to check on me and I reiterated how this was not an attack and they do not haev my blessing on any charges being placed. I read the paper they gave me about strangulation and I said point blank this did not occur and should be removed immediately. The judge is definitely going to be told this. She ensured this to me. I know you have the best team and there’s nothing to worry about I just want you to know that I’m doing all I can my end.”

“I also said to tell the judge to know that the origin of the call was to do with me collapsing and passing out and your worry as my partner due to our communication prior. Out of care. She promised all will be relayed.”

The messages seem to show the alleged victim is on his side. But it sounds very much like it was said by someone who is likely in an abusive relationship. As Variety notes, one source working with Majors on a project said, “It read like a bad Lifetime movie. They basically look like text messages of a textbook abused woman.” It will be interesting to see how the rest of the case unfolds. Especially if more victims accuse Majors as she tries to clear her name.

Majors is due to appear in court on May 8 for a hearing in the case.
