Creed III and Marvel Star Could Go to Jail for Allegedly Beating up his Girlfriend and He’s Getting Kicked Out of Almost Every Movies

MOVIE NEWS – Jonathan Majors, star of Lovecraft Country and Creed III and also a Marvel star actor. He was charged in New York after a woman alleged he assaulted her during a domestic dispute. The actor denies the allegations, but his management and PR team have already left him.

Jonathan Majors was recently one of the most popular actors in Hollywood, who appeared in several Marvel films and would have played the main villain in the new Avengers film. But now he’s in serious trouble after a woman reported him for assault and harassment. According to police, the actor punched and strangled the 30-year-old woman in a Manhattan apartment on Saturday morning. The woman suffered minor injuries to her head and neck and was taken to hospital.

According to Majors’ attorney, the actor is completely innocent and called 911 himself because he was concerned about her mental state. He also claims that she repeatedly retracted her accusations in writing and showed him messages to that effect. However, the police and prosecutors did not release Majors, but charged him with several crimes. The actor will appear in court in May.

As a result of the scandal, Majors’ management and PR team terminated the contract with him, and several film projects were put in jeopardy. Marvel Studios has not yet commented on the matter, but according to sources they are considering replacing Majors in the new Avengers movie. Additionally, the actor is no longer starring in The Man in My Basement, a Texas Rangers ad campaign and an Otis Redding biopic that Majors has been attached to. The Man in My Basement, which also has Willem Dafoe attached, is currently in the process of finding a replacement for Majors.

After Majors was dumped by his manager, publicist, and now several projects, it’s increasingly likely that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will follow suit. Majors debuted in season 1 of Loki as He Who Remains and returned in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as Kang the Conqueror. In the latter, Loki Season 2, Avengers, Kang was set up as the MCU’s next big villain in the post-credits scenes of The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. The actor’s arrest has raised questions about the future of the MCU, though Deadline reports that Marvel Studios has had “zero conversations” about replacing Majors.

While several other parties have already cut ties with Majors, it seems Marvel’s plan is to wait and evaluate while the legal process plays out. The actor is due in court on May 8 to face multiple counts of harassment and assault. Majors has already finished filming a major role in Loki Season 2, which could complicate Marvel’s decision to cut ties with the actor for now. Now that Jonathan Majors has dropped several projects, more are likely to follow, including Spike Lee’s Da Understudy and the Dennis Rodman film 48 Hours in Vegas.
