Fast 10: who among the main characters dies in the last episode?

MOVIE NEWS – There are several signs that one (or more) important characters will die in Fast 10, which will be released in theaters soon as the first half of the last part. (The grand finale turned out to be so monumental that it became two full-length movies.)

It is not yet known who will forcibly leave Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) family, but the fact is that such a move is very rare in the history of the series . Rather, the opposite is typical: if sometimes a hero is put out of action for the sake of increasing the dramatic effect, they are later brought back by popular demand, which is how Han (Sung Kang) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) ) during the series’ twenty years full of bold surprises.

How can you guess that a tragic turn is expected in the finale? The previews suggest this, but director Louis Leterrier has already hinted at it. “In westerns, the heroes end up riding off into the sunset, but we’re not like that,” the French director told Total Film. “The end of the story has come, and we can confidently raise the stakes, much higher than before.”

Leterrier’s statement may further explain why Justin Lin left the director’s chair shortly after filming began on Fast 10. Lin wrote five films from the series, so he had the lion’s share in the success, and he stayed on as a producer for the last part as well, but he no longer undertook the direction. In short, he explained that he “doesn’t want to get nervous”, the main reason behind this is said to be that he had a bad fight with Vin Diesel – as Dwayne Johnson did before – so he was replaced by Leterrier, who rewrote the script, apparently under pressure from Diesel and the studio. It’s possible that the elimination of some of the main characters got into the story in this way, and that’s why Lin left.

Of course, this still makes it impossible to know who will die in the end. Fans with the most daring imagination do not even rule out the character of Diesel – it depends on how much the creators are willing to raise the stakes, quoting Leterrier.
