How to Get Access to the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Preview Before It Launches

The first major expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, is coming in June, but CD Projekt Red announced that there will be opportunities to test it at the summer game festival and later.

Cyberpunk 2077 was perhaps the most controversial game of the past years, which raised huge expectations, but was full of bugs and problems at its launch. CD Projekt Red has been constantly fixing and improving the game since then, and soon the first major expansion will arrive, Phantom Liberty. The expansion promises new areas, missions, weapons and characters, as well as a new story, where V follows the trail of a mysterious organization.

Phantom Liberty will be released on June 15th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. However, CD Projekt Red does not want to repeat the scandalous start of Cyberpunk 2077, so it will provide several opportunities for fans to try out the expansion before its release. The studio announced on Twitter that at the Summer Game Fest: Play Days, there will be testing sessions for press and content creators. They are also planning similar opportunities for the community at a later date.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is not going to rush things, but wants to test itself thoroughly with the players. This is good news for those who were disappointed with Cyberpunk 2077 and hope that the expansion will improve the gameplay and the story. Phantom Liberty is not just a simple DLC, but also a full-fledged standalone game that does not require owning the base game. The price of the expansion is not yet known, but it is likely to be expensive.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty could give a new chance to CD Projekt Red and Cyberpunk 2077 to show what they can really do. Hopefully the expansion will not make the same mistakes as the base game and will provide an experience that fans have been waiting for. The testing opportunities could help avoid potential technical problems and optimization issues.
