Call Of Duty 2023: Game’s Announcement Date Revealed?!

A new leak from a trusted source claims to reveal when the 2023 Call of Duty game will be released.

The 2023 Call of Duty game could be released on August 1 if the latest leaks and rumours are correct. CoD leaks start around this time every year. It seems the upcoming 2023 version is no exception.

There have been reports suggesting that Activision may indeed skip the release of a full-fledged new Call of Duty game this year.

If that’s the case, it would be the first time since 2005 that no new CoD game has been released. Activision has denied these claims. For now, we expect that there will indeed be a new Call of Duty game this holiday season. Official details on what the project will include are not available at the time of writing.

According to a report from Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, a proven and accurate CoD leaker, it appears that the next game in the long-running first-person shooter franchise will be unveiled on Tuesday, August 1. The unveiling will reportedly take place as part of an in-game event. This would follow the trend that started with the unveiling of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War a few years ago. According to the report, August 1 has been “pencilled in”, so plans are subject to change.

Fans should always take leaks with a grain of salt. But Henderson has leaked plenty of CoD news accurately in the past. So there’s no reason to doubt him now. If the new game isn’t announced until August, it means that fans could find out about it a few months before the official release date. There are pros and cons to this approach.

But it would also mean that fans wouldn’t have to wait an awfully long time after the unveiling to dive into the beta.

Previous rumours suggested that the 2023 Call of Duty game could come in the form of a campaign expansion of Modern Warfare 2. As opposed to a genuinely brand-new experience. However, that has yet to be revealed. Ultimately, CoD fans will want to wait for official details from Activision. In the meantime, plenty of new content should come for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 battle royale to keep CoD fans busy while they wait to learn more about the 2023 game.
