Snag a Legendary Zombie Survival Horror for the Price of a Scoop of Ice Cream!

If you like survival horror games like Resident Evil 4, now is a great time to get one of the best of them all. Cold Fear, an exciting and terrifying adventure published by Ubisoft, is available in an online store for one euro.

Cold Fear is a 2005 survival horror third-person shooter developed by Darkworks and published by Ubisoft for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Microsoft Windows. It was Ubisoft’s first horror game and Darkworks’ second game after Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare.

The main character of the game is Tom Hansen, a member of the American Coast Guard, who rushes to the aid of a mysterious Russian whaling ship in the storm raging in the Bering Strait. However, incredible horrors await him on the ship: a mysterious parasite has infected the crew, who have turned into zombie-like creatures. Hansen discovers that the Russian mafia and the CIA are involved, and he must stop the parasites from reaching the mainland.

In the game, we have to fight not only with zombies, but also with the environment. The ship is constantly swaying and tilting due to the waves, which affects our aiming and balance. In addition to stormy weather, there are other dangers lurking: slippery decks, exploding tanks, broken wires and other traps. In the game, you can use a variety of weapons, such as pistols, rifles or flamethrowers, but you can even throw objects at the enemy.

The atmosphere of the game is very dark and depressing, and the graphics correctly depict the details of the ship and the deck covered in blood. The sounds also contribute to creating fear: we can hear the whimpering of zombies, the creaking of the ship and the rumbling of the storm. The game’s music was composed by Tom Salta, and Marilyn Manson added a song from his 2003 album.

Cold Fear received mixed reviews upon release, with many comparing it to Resident Evil 4. Although critics were generally impressed with the setting and opening cutscenes, they felt that the game was too short and could not sustain its promising start. The game was not a commercial success either; By February 2006, only 70,000 copies had been sold across the three platforms combined in the United States.

If you want to bag this game, now is the best time because in the Steam web store you can buy it for only one dollar/euro. That’s less than the price of a scoop of ice cream! But hurry, because the sale lasts only for a limited time! Don’t miss this great opportunity to immerse yourself in an exciting and terrifying adventure!
