Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a reimagined version of the classic Final Fantasy 7 game, with many changes and surprises for fans. However, the latest trailers suggest that the life of one of the most beloved characters, Tifa Lockhart, is in danger. Is this really true or just a trick from the developers?

The first part of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was released on PlayStation 4 in 2020 and was a great success among critics and gamers. The game not only updated the original story with modern graphics and combat system, but also introduced new elements that changed the course of events. For example, at the end of the game, Cloud and his companions face off against the Warrior of Destiny, a mysterious being who wants to preserve the original timeline. Zack Fair, Cloud’s friend and mentor who was long dead in the original game, also appears during the battle.

The release date of the second part is not yet known, but the developers have published several trailers for it. One of them is related to the Final Fantasy 7 Remake expansion called Intergrade, which tells the story of Yuffie Kisaragi. The trailer shows a scene where Tifa is running away from someone in a dark tunnel, followed by an explosion. And in another trailer, Tifa is standing on top of a building next to Cloud and they are looking towards an airplane. And we can see Aerith’s face from the window of the plane.

These scenes could indicate that Tifa’s life is in danger in the second part. Maybe someone wants to kill him, or maybe Aerith is jealous of him because of Cloud. In the original game, Aerith was the one who died at the hands of Sephiroth, but maybe that will change now. Maybe Tifa will be the victim instead.

However, these previews can be misleading. Maybe they just want to get the attention and interest of the fans to see what the second part will bring. Maybe Tifa doesn’t die, or if she does, it’s only temporary. Maybe there is some way to bring him back to life. Maybe with the help of Zack Fair.

The second part of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth still has to wait, but until then, fans can speculate and theorize about what will happen to Tifa and the rest of the cast. The game promises to be exciting and twisty, just like the first part.
