CD Projekt Has A Huge Deal: Now You Can Get 70 (!) Games For Free!

Cyberpunk 2077 publisher CD Projekt is now offering 70 free games through a digital store!

CD Projekt, the publisher of little-known titles such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077, is now giving away 70 free games through its digital store.

There are plenty of free PC games if you know where to look. Of course, you’re never guaranteed to like what you find. Beggars can’t be choosers, as they say. But it turns out that you can currently download 70 free games from the CD Projekt-owned GOG digital store. Surely there’s something for everyone, right?

This fat pile of juicy free games was flagged up by Free Steam Games on Twitter. The guys have taken the trouble to outline all 70 games. There are some honest-to-goodness classics in there, from early RPGs like Ultima IV to arcade shooters like Stargunner. It’s an exhaustive list, and a real walk through video game history for anyone who feels like paying homage to the industry’s earliest titles.

Here are some of the highlights, but they are not exhaustive:

  • Betrayer – A creepy horror RPG.
  • The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall – An eternal classic.
  • The Elder Scrolls: Arena – A piece of gaming history.
  • Samorost 1 – One of the best point-and-click games ever made.
  • GWENT: The Witcher Card Game – One of the best parts of The Witcher 3 got its own game.
  • The Lords Of Midnight – Another classic RPG.
  • Quake II RTX – One of the best FPS games of all time.
  • Shores Unknown: Arrival – A very interesting tactical role-playing game.

This is really just the tip of the iceberg, and I encourage you to take a good look at what’s on offer. With 70 games to choose from, there’s no way you won’t find one you absolutely love. See below for a list of titles, or visit the GOG page!
