Xbox Game Pass: The First Update For November 2023

This time Microsoft is launching a major update to its subscription service.

Available now are Headbangers: Rhythm Royal (console = Xbox Series, Xbox One; PC, cloud), Jusant (console, PC, cloud) and Wartales (console, PC, cloud), the first two of which will be available on Game Pass from launch. Similarly, Thirsty Suitors (console, PC, cloud) will launch on November 2, followed by Football Manager 2024 (PC) and Football Manager 2024 Console (console, PC, cloud) on November 6. There are also two new releases on 9 November, Dungeons 4 (console, PC, cloud) and Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (console, PC, cloud), but not Wild Hearts (console, PC, cloud; EA Play – PC Game Pass and Ultimate for subscribers). Spirittea (console, PC, cloud) will also be released on the thirteenth, and Coral Island (cloud, Xbox Series) will be coming to new platforms on the fourteenth, as it’s already available on PC.

Two DLC/updates mentioned by Microsoft. In Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, subscribers can get The Mountain Royale at a 10% discount, while a PC Game Pass or Ultimate subscription will get EA Sports WRC for five hours before launch, courtesy of EA Play. There’s only one Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perk, a bundle celebrating Fallout 76’s 5th birthday.

Finally, these departing games are Coffee Talk (console, PC, cloud), Exapunks (PC), Ghost Song (console, PC, cloud), Gungrave G.O.R.E (console, PC, cloud), Football Manager 2023 (PC), Football Manager 2023 Console (console, PC, cloud), Lapin (console, PC, cloud), and Townscaper (console, PC, cloud). They will leave the service on November 15.

So this update looks pretty strong this time around. We’re curious to see what Sony has in store for the PlayStation Plus Essential November offer. This time around, Billbil-kun hasn’t leaked anything (at least not yet, at the time of writing… but he did leak some of the Game Pass update), but we’ll be sure to check back later today.
