PlayStation has announced the next PlayStation Plus free online multiplayer weekend! As part of this, all PS4 and PS5 players can access the multiplayer mode of their favourite games at no extra cost. In addition to this PlayStation Plus Free Online Multiplayer Weekend, players must purchase a PS Plus membership to compete with others or team up with friends in multiplayer games.

In 2022, Sony completely overhauled the decade-old PlayStation Plus service to offer new features to PlayStation gamers.

The next PlayStation Plus free online multiplayer weekend starts on December 9 at 00:01 and ends on December 10 at 23:59 local time. During this time, all PS4 and PS5 players can access the games’ multiplayer mode for free. Even if you don’t have an active PlayStation Plus membership. This limited-time event gives players a taste of some popular PlayStation games. For example, from the multiplayer mode of EA Sports FC 24 or the extremely popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This limited-time PlayStation Plus Free Online Multiplayer Weekend is part of Sony’s PlayStation Plus Season of Play. The latter lasts until January 5, 2024. During this time, PlayStation Plus subscribers can, among other things, redeem free avatars for PS5 and PS4 consoles. They can also get exclusive discounts on PlayStation Gear merchandise and collect points on PlayStation Stars.

Sony recently revealed the PlayStation Plus free games for December 2023 that subscribers can claim until January 1.

This month’s lineup includes LEGO 2K Drive and Powerwash Simulator for both PS4 and PS5, while Sable is exclusive to PS5. PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers should know that 11 games will be leaving the service on December 19, including Yakuza: Like a Dragon, The Escapists 2, and Middle-earth: Shadow of War. As part of a regular rotation of games available in the PlayStation catalogue, new games will be added to the service soon.
