[TGA 2023] Uncover the Mystery: The First Descendant Brings New Adventures to the Forefront [VIDEO]

Nexon and Nexon Games have officially announced that their anticipated free-to-play cooperative looter shooter, The First Descendant, will make its debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) in summer 2024.

The new cinematic trailer, created using Unreal Engine 5.2, showcases the adventures of The First Descendant characters Valby, Viessa, and a mysterious newcomer. Encouraged by her allies, Valby gears up with her team for an unexpected clash against two gigantic Colossi threatening their home, Ingris. The trailer emphasizes the importance of cooperative gameplay and invites players to be among the first to take up the challenge in Summer 2024.

The First Descendant recently concluded a Crossplay Open Beta, attracting nearly 2 million participants from over 200 countries. Post-Beta, the development team decided to launch the game in 2024 to implement a slew of enhancements highly requested by players, including increased mission variety, more content in fields, a cleaner user experience and interface, and even more optimized graphics.

In a recent Dev Note, game producer Lee Beom-jun highlighted some of the key updates and features players can expect at launch, such as improved co-op play, matchmaking support for dungeon missions, and overall better missions and fields. Loadouts for weapon and module presets are also being incorporated into the game, responding to frequent requests from both console and PC players.
