MOVIE NEWS – Disney unveils first footage, new logo and (yet another…) release window for Daredevil: Born Again.

The first footage from the highly anticipated Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again has been released! These were revealed at Disney’s recent upfront presentation, and the studio also revealed the release window and the new logo for the MCU series. It has now been revealed that Daredevil: Born Again, in which Charlie Cox will once again play the role of Matt Murdock, i.e. Daredevil, will arrive on Disney+ in March 2025.

Therefore, the production, with a troubled fate, continues to be delayed since the makers recently promised a premiere date of 2024…

During the presentation, Disney also presented the first trailer of the series. The footage shows what’s in store for the Man Without Fear once he joins the MCU. Although we don’t have the trailer itself, IGN was kind enough to provide a description of what was shown.

“The new trailer “shows Matt Murdock donning the iconic Daredevil suit while narrating that the “entire system is against you… it’s often Davis vs. Goliath.” The footage then shows off glimpses of some of the returning characters, including “Kingpin, Foggy, and Karen,” as well as “a brief action sequence.” The trailer ends with Mudock being asked “what kind of a lawyer are you.” He replies, “A really good one,” before putting on “a broken pair of his familiar glasses.”

Is Daredevil: Born Again finally in a safe place?

Although we only have one description (for now), Daredevil: Born Again sounds like it will continue everything that audiences loved about the Netflix series. It is certain that everyone will be happy to see the character in 2025 as well.

To everyone’s surprise, Daredevil was extremely difficult to bring back to the big screen after the character’s celebrated Netflix series.

Reports last year revealed that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was left unsatisfied with what he saw on the set of the series. So he started everything from scratch. He also sent the writers and directors. The Punisher producer Dario Scardapane has since been brought on board and will now serve as showrunner, with Loki duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead serving as executive directors.

Daredevil: Born Again is now scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in March 2025. The series will start with a 9-episode season, and soon, a second 9-episode season will follow. It has also been confirmed that it will be a part of Phase Five of the MCU.
