Star Overdrive: Going Multiplatform After a Successful Switch Launch! [VIDEO]

Caracal Games and Dear Villagers aren’t keeping their open-world sci-fi action-adventure exclusive to Nintendo Switch for long.

Journey to the depths of the galaxy in this fast-paced sci-fi epic! After receiving a mysterious distress signal, you’ll embark on a daring adventure through an alien world to uncover the secrets hidden in its depths. Use your stylish hoverboard to traverse stunning landscapes filled with alien structures, from scorching sands to rippling waters, each testing your traversal skills to the limit. As you venture deeper, you’ll face relentless enemies in frenetic melee combat, using a variety of unlockable skills and abilities to overcome them in creative ways. Customize your hoverboard to suit your riding style by solving puzzles and collecting resources that enhance its speed, steering, gravity, and more. Whether you’re racing through the terrain at breakneck speeds or battling fierce enemies, the Hoverboard will be your ultimate companion in this thrilling quest for answers.

Explore a vast alien planet at lightning speed with your customizable hoverboard. Discover creative ways to defeat enemies and obstacles by combining multiple powers. Engage in intense high-speed chases with giant monsters. Explore over 170km² of alien landscapes filled with secrets and challenges. Speed through vast landscapes, perform incredible tricks, and gain the upper hand in intense combat. Unleash and combine powers to battle enemies, bend the laws of physics, and solve intricate puzzles. Journey through four uniquely different biomes, each filled with challenges and secrets to uncover. Battle unique creatures, from small enemies to towering bosses, each requiring strategy and skill to defeat.

Star Overdrive was released for Nintendo Switch on April 10th. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC ports will be released on June 19. Standard edition: $/€35, Deluxe: $/€40. The latter includes three styles, a design and 50 colors for the hoverboard, as well as a digital soundtrack and a digital manga of the prequel story written and drawn by the Caracal Games team. In addition to the upcoming ports, the developers are also working to incorporate user feedback into future improvements to the Switch version as soon as possible, and to incorporate that feedback into other versions before release.

This is a reasonable approach.
