The Peruvian studio 2nd Player Games and Deck13 Spotlight have announced a Japanese-inspired RPG aimed at bringing back the PS1 generation.

Set in a world where humanity fled to the skies in an attempt to outrun their destiny, Full Circle is a JRPG inspired by the classics of the original PlayStation era. Beneath a city in the sky, on a surface overrun by mutated beasts, young heroes are raised with a single purpose: to brave the wilds and keep humanity’s last refuge alive. However, when a mission beyond the walls reveals survivors, rival cities, and secrets they were not prepared for, everything they believed begins to unravel.
Full Circle is a story-driven JRPG inspired by the classics of the original PlayStation era. It combines strategic turn-based combat and real-time precision mechanics and is set in a post-apocalyptic world of floating cities, ancient ruins, and civilizations divided by sky and earth. During combat, both clever strategy and quick reflexes are rewarded. Chain your party’s actions with precision-timed inputs to maintain the offensive and prevent enemies from reacting. Each character has unique abilities, such as deploying turrets, hacking machines, taming beasts, and controlling environments. Experiment with action orders to unlock powerful combos and swap between active and reserve party members to adapt quickly.
