Microsoft regularly expands its subscription service, and surprisingly few titles are currently being removed.
Beginning August 6, subscribers to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass will have early access to the open beta of Gears of War: E-Day. Heretic + Hexen is now available on consoles, including Xbox Series and Xbox One, as well as on PC, cloud, and handheld. It is now part of Game Pass Premium, in addition to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Beast of Reincarnation is also now available on Xbox Series, PC, cloud, and handheld through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. This is a new release, meaning it is launching on Game Pass. Coming on August 6 are Monsters Are Coming! (Xbox Series, PC, cloud, and handheld; now part of Game Pass Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass) and PowerWash Simulator 2 (Xbox Series, PC, and cloud; now part of Game Pass Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass).
On August 11, Bounty Star (Xbox Series, PC, cloud, handheld; now part of Game Pass Premium in addition to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass), Date Everything! (Xbox Series, PC, cloud, handheld; Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass), and Grounded 2 (Game Preview) (Xbox Series, PC, cloud, handheld; now part of Game Pass Premium in addition to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass) will be released. Ball x Pit will be released on August 12 (Xbox Series, PC, cloud, handheld; now part of Game Pass Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass).
On August 13, Cricket 26 will be released for consoles, PC, and cloud, and will be available through Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. Also arriving on August 13 are Mio: Memories in Orbit (Xbox Series, PC, cloud, and handheld; now included in Game Pass Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass) and Sandustry (Game Preview) (PC; included in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as a new release), while Egging On will arrive on August 18 (Xbox Series, PC, cloud, and handheld; included in Game Pass Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass). As a reminder, Microsoft highlighted one game: Tears of Metal (Game Preview) (PC; Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass). In addition, Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, and Fuzion Frenzy are now available on PC and handheld devices through Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, and PC Game Pass. These four games were originally released on Xbox.
Microsoft has announced one game update for the service: beginning August 6, members of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass will receive 10 hours of early access to EA Sports Madden NFL 27, courtesy of EA Play. Subscribers will also receive the seventh Call of Duty: Warzone Game Pass pack, which is available on Xbox Series, PC, and cloud for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, and PC Game Pass subscribers. Finally, four games will be removed on August 15. These are Menace (Game Preview) (PC), Atlas Fallen (console, PC, and cloud), Aliens: Fireteam Elite (consoles, PC, and cloud), and Firewatch (consoles, PC, and cloud).
