Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that it will host a State of Play on September 3 at 6 AM Pacific, followed immediately by a State of Play Japan. The event will be streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. During the State of Play, there will be updates and announcements from PlayStation Studios and external partners, concluding with a detailed presentation of Final Fantasy VII: Revelation. The show will be broadcast in English with Japanese subtitles. Hosted by Yuki Kaji, State of Play Japan will provide a detailed look at upcoming games from Japanese and Asian developers, including new gameplay footage, announcements, and more. The show will be broadcast in Japanese with English subtitles.

Additionally, Konami will hold a live stream titled Konami Press Start on September 3 at 8 AM Pacific. Viewers can expect gaming news and updates from the Japanese company. The stream will be available to watch on YouTube. The 30-minute show will feature upcoming titles, including Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Silent Hill: Townfall, Rev. NOiR, eFootball: Kick-Off! and Project Zircoin. There will also be new gameplay footage and video messages from the development teams. Exclusive footage will also be shown during the broadcast.

To go along with all that, here’s a quick news item: The latest installment in Ubisoft’s Just Dance franchise, Just Dance: Decades of Hits has been leaked, and the French company has announced that it will reveal more information about the game on September 10. Meanwhile, Nintendo has held a Nintendo Direct in nine of the last ten Septembers. It’s not too hard to connect the two, especially since Ubisoft and Nintendo have a good relationship. An official announcement is sure to follow in the next few days.
