A Major Update Coming to Xbox Game Pass in September?

Microsoft’s subscription service will be adding a lot of games in the first month of autumn, according to a leaker, and many of them will be new releases.

Users on the ResetEra forum are talking about what a Spanish insider, eXtas1s, has posted. According to him, 19 games are coming to the Redmond tech giant’s service, and 17 (!) of them will be new releases! The easiest way is to look at the games that will actually hit the shelves in September, and if there are really that many titles coming out for Xbox Series and/or Xbox One and PC, then there might be a rationale.

Here’s a list of the titles coming to Xbox in September, with the release date in brackets. ), Ace Attorney Investigations Collection (September 6), Aero the Acro-Bat 2 (September 6), NBA 2K25 (September 6), Sunsoft is Back Retro Game Selection (September 6), Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 (September 9), Elsie (September 10), Yars Rising (September 10), Crossy Road Castle (September 11).

The second half of the month also has some interesting titles, including Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP (Sept. 12th), Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (Sept. 12th), Edge of Sanity (Sept. 13th), Evotinction (Sept. 13th), Core Keeper (Sept. 17th), The Plucky Squire (Sept. 17th). ), Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templar: Reforged (September 19th), Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster (September 19th), Enotria: The Last Song (September 19), Epic Mickey: Rebrushed (September 24), Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports (September 27) and Starfield: Shattered Space will also be released on September 30th…

So there’s games aplenty (and even that’s a narrowed down list), but several of these seem unlikely to show up on the Xbox Game Pass list immediately upon release, but Microsoft has unlimited money, so who knows what the company paid in for. In any case, it’s just a rumor!
