Many gamers like to acquire and accumulate games on a monthly basis to build a large library. PS Plus offers a large catalogue of games—of course, only as long as we are willing to pay for the service. In addition, new games are regularly added to the offer, the basic level of which is PS Plus Essential.

It was already reported a few days ago that PlayStation announced free games for PS Plus Essential members in October 2024. The good news is that we can already download these titles. If you’re a survival horror lover, you’ll be glad to see the arrival of Dead Space Remake. It’s an updated version of EA’s horror classic, with improved graphics, revamped sound design, and minor narrative changes.

The Dead Space Remake is a must-have for fans of the genre. It preserves the essence of the original, with its depressing atmosphere that often makes you suffer.

We also get WWE 2K24, the previous instalment of the WWE wrestling franchise. This title has improved combat mechanics, wrestler customization, and game modes such as MyGM, MyFaction, and Universe mode. There are technical improvements, and the list of wrestlers has been expanded.

Last but not least, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! an expanded version of the well-known visual novel. It has elements of psychological horror and a dating simulator, which already seems like an exciting mix. Although controversial, the community was very pleased with this expanded edition, which brought new stories, high-resolution support, and additional content. The game revolves around themes of anxiety, obsession and control – it feels fitting for this gloomy October!
