Slitterhead: Introducing Three New Characters and an Exciting Location

Bokeh Game Studio has revealed more information about its action-adventure game, which also ventures into the realm of the surreal.

Vengeance Guard: While holding down and enduring enemy attacks, unleashes accumulated damage as a shockwave. Shared skill: Curse Resist dispels all negative effects and negates all new negative effects for a set amount of time. Tri’s active skills: Guardian Thorns consumes blood to create a shrub-like object. It will automatically attack nearby enemies to attract their attention. Bloody Knuckles: Causes enemies to bleed while the skill is active. Also has the effect of making enemies easier to stun. Common skill: Crimson Chains. Bind yourself to an enemy with chains of blood, reducing their movement speed for a set amount of time.

A Slitterhead that mimics a human can be unmasked by spraying blood on it. Hyoki’s blood is poisonous to Slitterheads. An unmasked Slitterhead may try to escape. Do not let it escape. Chase, attack and kill them. If they get too far away, use Possession to close the distance. Blood Jump allows the player to quickly jump into the air and attack. A marker will appear on locations that can be used as a foothold. Note that the marker can be obscured if there is an obstacle in the way. Blood can be drawn from Blood Pools to restore Blood Level (HP). These pools are created when humans or slitterheads take damage.

A character who collapses from blood loss will be in a near-death state and can be resurrected if they are not already dead. To revive them, walk up to them and hold the interaction button. They will have very low Blood Level (HP) after resurrection, so be careful. Sometimes an arm can be severed when hit by an enemy. The severed arm can be recovered. After a certain amount of time, blood can be consumed to restore it.

Compared to Rarities with powerful skills, ordinary humans possess limited stamina and attack power, making them incredibly vulnerable in combat. However, it is also difficult to defeat the Slitterheads with just a single Rarity, so in battle it becomes crucial to strategically possess as many humans who are present. Because ordinary human bodies are frail, they can escape danger by possessing another human when in critical situations. Additionally, each character has their own unique active skills, which ordinary humans also possess (all ordinary humans share the same skills). Blood Popper throws a bomb made of coagulated blood. It explodes if it hits something, spraying countless needles of blood in an area. War Cry draws the attention of nearby enemies. Switch to a different body after drawing attention to catch enemies off guard or buy time to heal.

They also introduced the new level, Echoes of Love Society. The headquarters of this newly founded organization, constructed in the mountains to evade attention. Its members consist undocumented immigrants as well as financially disadvantaged individuals. They have gathered under the leadership of its Master to live together in a communal setting.

Slitterhead will be released on November 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 4.
