SkyShowtime presents the official trailer for the highly anticipated prequel series, Dexter: Original Sin. The ten-part drama series, which explores the origin story of America’s favorite serial killer, will premiere on January 30th.

Set in Miami in 1991, Dexter: Original SinDexter: Original Sin. Dexter (Patrick Gibson) follows the life of Dexter (Patrick Gibson) as he goes from student to vengeful serial killer. When his bloodthirsty desires become unbearable, Dexter must learn to control his killer instincts. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Christian Slater), he follows a unique moral code as he tries to avoid the authorities’ crosshairs while finding and killing those who deserve to be eliminated from society. This poses a serious challenge for young Dexter when he takes a job as a forensic intern for the Miami Police Department.

Dexter: Original Sin also stars Molly Brown, Christina Milian, James Martinez, Alex Shimizu, Reno Wilson, and special guest stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Patrick Dempsey. Michael C. Hall once again voices the inner voice of Dexter Morgan.

Dexter: Original Sin is executive produced by Clyde Phillips in association with SHOWTIME Studios and Counterpart Studios.
