[TGA 2024] Two Major Games From This Year Are Coming to PC Next Year! [VIDEO]

This means that two games that are currently only available on one of the current generation of consoles will be making their way to PC to appeal to a wider audience.

According to an announcement from Sony Interactive Entertainment, Naughty Dog will be porting The Last of Us Part II Remastered (which was released on January 19th for PlayStation 5) to PC with the help of Nixxes Software. The game will be graphically nicer (no details on how yet) and will fully support the DualSense controller. Of course, you’ll need a PlayStation Network account to play it, as Sony won’t bring any of its games to PC without requiring a PSN account, even for single-player titles.

Square Enix, on the other hand, has been a bit more forthcoming about what to expect from the PC port of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which has been available on PlayStation 5 since February 29th. The lighting has been greatly improved, so scenes and areas will be nicer and clearer than on the console. Nvidia’s DLSS will be supported as well as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). The level of detail for background models and background texture mipmaps will all be adjustable. The density of background polygons and textures can be cranked up higher than ever before, making the game even more beautiful. DualSense will also be supported, but mouse/keyboard pairing will also be available. Steam Deck support is also planned (despite the guaranteed use of Denuvo).
