Omega Phenex Commenced Project Six: Fast-Paced Mech Battles by Japanese Indie Developer! [VIDEO]

The project, so far only known as Project Six, has been officially christened by Surume Koubou, and what we’ve seen so far looks pretty good…

You will be the pilot of the Icarus mech, which has tremendous maneuverability. You will enjoy a battle and face large powerful armies and rivals, moving from skimming the surface of the sea to the clouds with Icarus. This game is a high speed mech shooting game capable of firing massive amounts of missiles. This work is characterized by an overwhelming sense of speed.

There are no restrictions on the rotation speed, and the consumption of the boost gauge required for high-speed movement and flight is set at a moderate level. Enemy bullets are easy to dodge, making it easy to enjoy high-speed combat. Aiming controls are similar to those of popular shooting games such as FPS and TPS, so even those unfamiliar with robot games will find Omega Phenex Commenced Project Six easy to play.

It also features the mech’s customization features, such as swapping parts and painting capabilities. The performance of each part varies slightly, but the performance of the Mech is largely determined by the Tune function. This Tune can be used to increase any parameter of your choice, such as durability, mobility, or weapon performance, by spending a limited amount of the cost.

This allows you to customize your Mechs’ appearance to suit your preferred fighting style. The game includes a wide variety of missions (more than 30), such as extermination, exploration, boss fights and escort missions (considering a less stressful specification for them). In addition, there is an arena mode for one-on-one combat with the enemy Icarus.

Omega Phenex Commenced Project Six is currently PC only and will be available on Steam. We don’t know when, because Surume Koubou hasn’t announced it yet.
