Still Not Sure if the Misson: Impossible Franchise Will End [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – Let’s start with some not-so-surprising news. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning ended up costing an astronomical amount, although this can’t be new, as each installment in the series has become increasingly expensive to make. According to industry sources, this installment cost $400 million, which is one of the largest sums ever spent on a film. The most recent film to be made was Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which cost $446.6 million. Meanwhile, speculation continues as to whether this eighth installment will truly conclude the unprecedentedly successful series. The title suggests this, but The Hollywood Reporter wrote in November that the producer Paramount studio is trying to make this part the last to increase interest in it, and then two or three years later they can easily come out with the ninth episode.

However, ScreenRant spotted that there is a telling sentence in the film’s trailer. “You have to trust me – for the last time,” says agent Ethan Hunt, aka Tom Cruise to his team.

However, this is refuted by Cruise (62) in an interview he gave to the Sydney Morning Herald back in the summer. In it, he gave the example of Harrison Ford, who, even in his old age, bravely started cracking a whip in the n+1th part of Indiana Jones. “Harrison Ford is a legend,” he told the newspaper. “I hope I can make it, I have 20 years to catch up. I wish I could make Mission: Impossible movies until I’m as old as he is now.”
