After months of delays and speculation, 11 bit studios has finally confirmed the release date for its ambitious new game, The Alters. Unveiled during the Triple-I Initiative showcase, the title is set to arrive on June 13, blending base management mechanics with a deeply narrative-driven science fiction experience.

Accompanying the announcement, a fresh trailer showed off new gameplay footage. The Alters revolves around Jan Dolski, a stranded survivor on a hostile alien planet. Faced with imminent death, he uses advanced technology to create alternative versions of himself—each one built to assist in the operation and survival of a remote colony under constant threat.

These “Alters” are not mere copies; they are distinct individuals with different personalities, emotional baggage, and life trajectories. One may be a skilled botanist, another a hardened miner—each useful in their own right but also carrying their own beliefs, traumas, and motivations.
