Destiny‘s so-far-biggest expansion, The Taken King (which will be available on disc and as part of a PlayStation 4 bundle too from September 15) has received a live action trailer. This was directed by Joseph Kosinski, director of Oblivion and Tron: Legacy. The background music is Black Dog by Led Zeppelin and the trailer is called Evil’s Most Wanted – this expansion got so much hype that this trailer’s shorter, sixty-second edit was aired on television during the NFL season opener. We did put in the original work of Kosinski into the news article though.
Meanwhile, Bungie has really tossed Peter Dinklage out, because the actor, known for his role in Game of Thrones, was replaced by the „heard in every game” Nolan North, so he’s going to be the voice of Ghost. It’s most likely a cost cutting move on Bungie’s end. There’s already a petition for bringing Dinklage back into the game. However, they only managed to promote the game even more with this, so all we can say is congratulations. Expect to hear Nolan even more.
Another interesting thing: a Japanese trailer was also made.
