Diablo 4 Wants €150 for Skins While You Cry Over €90 Games

As players argue over rising game prices, Diablo 4 stuns with a €150 cosmetic pack in its most hyped crossover. The collaboration with Kentaro Miura’s Berserk doesn’t include a bundle—you have to buy everything separately.

What was supposed to be an epic partnership between Diablo 4 and the iconic Berserk manga has instead drawn heavy backlash. With the industry still rattled by the latest GTA 6 trailer and escalating price tags, Blizzard has made a divisive move: the crossover inspired by Kentaro Miura’s grim fantasy world is now live, and collecting all the content will cost up to €150.

The collaboration with Berserk involves purchasing the skins separately

Each individual set costs between 2,500 and 2,800 Platinum, the game’s premium currency. And since there’s no bundle deal, players must buy all six sets individually. That adds up to 16,500 Platinum total, which—according to Blizzard’s own store—is just shy of €150 in real-world money.

The most cost-efficient option? A Platinum pack priced at €149.99, offering 18,500 Platinum, so you’d still have a bit left over. But even then, it’s a steep investment for pure cosmetic fluff.

And if that weren’t enough, the Chimimoryo pet—nicknamed “Schnoz” by Berserk fans—is also sold separately for 2,800 Platinum, or roughly $28. For many, charging extra for the pet is the final insult, and bundling it all would’ve made more sense.

The community response has been overwhelmingly negative. “The pet costs 2,800 Platinum, literally just the pet. How dare they be!” wrote one player. Another said they weren’t surprised, given how previous skins were priced. Now, fans are calling for fairer monetization and more reasonable pricing before Diablo 4’s reputation takes a lasting hit.
