When was The Orange Box released? All the way back in 2007 – good lord, that is when Half-Life 2 Episode Two was put out to the public. Still, the rule is still applied: Valve doesn’t put together “3” installments of their games. Just think of it: Team Fortress 3? Left 4 Dead 3? Portal 3? Yeah. About Half-Life 3, a joke question has arisen on Twitter by none other than a Naughty Dog employee…
Neil Druckmann, director at Naughty Dog, has jokingly asked Valve to hand over the rights to develop Half-Life 3, and „we’ll take care of the rest” – said Neil. This means that even they are waiting for this long-awaited game (and meanwhile, they developed Uncharted 2, 3, The Last Of Us on both PS3 and PS4 and soon, Uncharted trilogy will receive a PS4 port and UC4 will be out as well), but think of it, what a great idea it actually is. Half-Life 3, published by Valve and SCE – the former would publish the PC, the latter would take care of the PS4 port respectively. It’d be an amazing idea, but sadly, it will never come to fruition.
Look, Valve, all I’m saying is you give us the Half Life license and we’ll take care of the rest. ? https://t.co/XkrWjtfXyJ
