Grand Theft Auto VI: Will the Premium Edition Cost a Fortune?

Although the game’s release is still over nine months away, we’re already hearing rumors about the most expensive version of Grand Theft Auto VI (and it’s not the collector’s edition). A recently deleted leak suggests the Premium Edition will be pricey—but it might become a must-have for diehard fans if the details prove true.

The Grand Theft Auto community went wild after a new leak detailing the price of the game surfaced online. The info came from Twitter user @millieamand, a reliable leaker with a track record of accurate Sony-related scoops, who also revealed an exclusive promotional deal between Rockstar Games and Sony for GTA VI. The tweet was quickly deleted, but not before @GTAVI_Countdown captured a screenshot.

According to the leak, the Deluxe Edition will be priced at £90 and the Premium Edition at £110—roughly €100 and €120, or about 40,000 and 44,000 forints. Interestingly, Millie A claimed the Deluxe Edition will give players early access to Grand Theft Auto Online, while the Premium Edition allows users to be the “first to play” GTA Online. This distinction is key, since it suggests GTA VI’s online features will roll out in three separate phases.

What’s the difference between the editions?

Given Rockstar’s silence, speculation is mounting that GTA VI will launch without its online component, and that Grand Theft Auto Online will arrive later—maybe even as a standalone game. The leak lines up with this theory: rather than promising immediate access, it simply states Premium Edition buyers will get to play GTA Online before everyone else.

We’ll have to wait and see how accurate these details are once Rockstar finally reveals pre-order information—whenever that may be.
