PlayStation Plus 15: Five Free Gifts for PS4 & PS5 Owners – But Only If You’re Fast!

PlayStation is celebrating its birthday, and five gifts are up for grabs for PS4 and PS5 owners. Redeem Sony’s newest free avatar codes now. To mark the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus, the Japanese company is rewarding everyone – but you’ll have to be quick!

This week, PS5 and PS4 gamers have a real reason to visit the PlayStation Store. While August’s monthly games are already available for PS Plus subscribers, Sony is distributing a special set of free rewards to celebrate the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus. Best of all, you don’t need a subscription to claim them, but don’t wait too long.

As part of the PlayStation Plus 15th anniversary campaign, Sony has released a brand-new collection of free avatars for all users. These icons are inspired by some of the most popular and representative titles in the current PlayStation ecosystem – including Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War: Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal. The campaign is active worldwide, and codes to redeem the avatars are already circulating.

Confirmed codes for each region: North America – JGE9-RHJ3-3DLC; Europe, the United Kingdom, and India – PEDN-MARA-T2M9; Asia and Oceania – HRK4-G9LC-LHLC; South America – FREE-0000-0000. You can redeem these either on the PlayStation website or directly through the PS Store on your console. Although everyone can grab these avatars, you should act quickly as they may disappear without notice.

PlayStation Plus: Free Lies of P Available This Month

In addition to avatars, as mentioned above, PS Plus subscribers can also claim titles like Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero Academia’s Justice 2 PS4 from the service’s section of the PlayStation Store. These games are only available for a limited time, so it’s the perfect opportunity to grow your library. But it’s not all good news for digital collectors.

Sony still hasn’t clarified what happened to the premium PS3 avatars that recently disappeared from PS5, PS4, and the official PlayStation app. These paid avatars can now only be used on the old console, which has frustrated players who no longer own it. Although it was initially thought to be a technical issue, it’s looking increasingly likely that they were intentionally removed.
