Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater: Nightmare on Snake Street [VIDEO]

Konami has remastered Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and the remake will include an extra game mode.

The remake will feature a nightmare mode called Guy Savage, which was outsourced rather than developed by Konami. PlatinumGames implemented this mode in the remake. The Japanese studio already has experience with the franchise because this team also developed one of Metal Gear‘s spin-offs, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, more than a decade ago (and it was quite a stylish game).

According to the official website, Guy Savage returns in a completely redesigned form in the remake, retaining the essence of the original but with a slightly fresher look, courtesy of PlatinumGames. Players can activate it during gameplay or unlock it as a bonus mode by first completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Konami hasn’t revealed any additional information, but the remake is expected to be released soon.

The Fox Hunt game mode and multiplayer option will not be included in the remake of Metal Gear Solid III. Konami has announced that the remake will be released in the fall. It is also official that there will be no cross-play. For example, it will not be possible to see a PlayStation 5 player competing against a friend playing on Xbox Series. Unfortunately, we don’t live in a perfect world. It’s possible that Sony closed itself off from this because Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was originally released only on the PS2 over 20 years ago. They protested against cross-play for a long time, for example, in the case of Fortnite, although we may not remember that.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is not far off. The remake will be released on August 28 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
