PlayStation has announced its September 2025 lineup for PS Plus Extra and Premium. Beginning September 16, eight new games spanning wrestling, JRPG strategy, survival, and action will join the catalog — headlined by WWE 2K25, Persona 5 Tactica, and Green Hell.

Each month, the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium libraries expand with new additions, giving subscribers more ways to get the most out of their PS5. After August’s 11-game update, September brings a fresh selection that mixes big-name releases with varied genres. Here’s what players can look forward to in the coming weeks.

On its official blog, Sony confirmed the September 16 update will add WWE 2K25 (PS5, PS4), Persona 5 Tactica (PS5, PS4), Green Hell (PS5, PS4), and Fate/Samurai Remnant (PS5, PS4), among others. The lineup spans everything from sports entertainment to tactical JRPGs, open-world survival, and historical action. PS Plus Premium members will also receive a classic bonus: Legacy of Kain: Defiance, emulated for PS4 and PS5. Notably, WWE 2K25 is the newest release, having launched this March, while The Invincible and Persona 5 Tactica date back to late 2023.

Green Hell delivers hardcore survival in the Amazon rainforest — from crafting and hunting to treating wounds and managing mental health — playable solo or in online co-op for up to four. Fate/Samurai Remnant, developed by Koei Tecmo, dives into a Holy Grail War with action-RPG mechanics. Crow Country brings retro survival horror to a creepy theme park, The Invincible offers a branching sci-fi narrative with 11 possible endings, and Conscript throws players into Verdun in 1916 with a grim World War I survival horror experience. For Premium members, Legacy of Kain: Defiance revives the PS2 classic, letting fans once again step into the roles of Kain and Raziel.
