Forget Resident Evil 9: Requiem, at least for now. Capcom won’t be showing it at its next big digital event, but it has several tricks up its sleeve. The company has revealed the list of titles it will showcase at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 online event.
The biggest names in the gaming industry are preparing to impress audiences at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2025. As a Japan-born company, Capcom couldn’t miss the celebration; that’s why it has not only confirmed its attendance but also shared the lineup of titles that will appear at its digital showcase and booth. The selection has already surprised many fans, as the developer won’t share any news about Resident Evil 9: Requiem at its virtual conference.
Capcom confirmed the decision on X, scheduling its digital presentation for September 24 at 4:00 PM (CET). According to the post, the 40-minute showcase will deliver “news and updates on upcoming Capcom games and content.” The official lineup includes:
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword
- PRAGMATA
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
- Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection
- Street Fighter 6
Does this mean Capcom will completely ignore its biggest 2026 title? Not at all. Resident Evil 9: Requiem will be available at Capcom’s booth, allowing Tokyo attendees to try Grace’s adventure firsthand. This doesn’t mean the company will stop releasing trailers and gameplay ahead of the game’s February 27, 2026 launch — more footage is likely to arrive at other major gaming events in the coming months.
Monster Hunter and Pragmata Take Center Stage
Capcom fans still have reasons to keep an eye on the Tokyo Game Show 2025 broadcast. Judging from the lineup, the Japanese developer wants to capture attention with Monster Hunter and Pragmata. On one side, it must rebuild trust among Monster Hunter Wilds players after the Steam fiasco, complemented by new details from the long-awaited Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. On the other, sci-fi fans will learn more about the ambitious Pragmata, which aims to impress with both its gameplay and realistic graphics designed primarily around one of its characters.
