Although Call of Duty Black Ops 3‘s previous generation version (on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) will have no story mode in it, the current-gen duo, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, as well as the PC will have a story mode, so it’s no wonder that Activision and Treyarch has put together a trailer for the story of the campaign. (Which is probably going to be the usual you play it through once and then never again thing, but we’ll see about it.)
Dark, gritty future, a new type of Black Ops soldier, and there is no line between humanity and the military technology anymore. Our goal will be finding our brothers in a new Cold War and its dangerous spots. So we can pretty much say that it’s a typical story, although Treyarch tends to have some great campaign modes put together.
We’ll see soon, because the game will launch on November 6 on all five of the aforementioned platforms, and Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will favour the PlayStation 4 instead of the Xbox One, when it comes to the DLCs – Sony will get them earlier. We only have one question: how much do you want to bet that the 2016 CoD game will have no campaign whatsoever?
