Psycho Dead: Coming to Consoles, But Here’s the PC Demo for Now! [VIDEO]

Moon Catalyst is not only bringing its third-person survival horror title to PC, but it will also launch on one of the current-generation consoles. In the meantime, you can already head to Steam and download the Psycho Dead demo, which showcases the opening chapter of the game and offers about 45–60 minutes of gameplay.

At the heart of the story is Elixia, a young woman with powerful psychic abilities who wakes up in a secret laboratory. Soon after, she realizes she must flee from relentless pursuers determined to end her life — or fight back against them. The goal is simple: survive at all costs while gradually uncovering the truth behind the sinister events that unfolded within the facility.

Psycho Dead is a third-person survival horror game set in a nightmarish environment teeming with grotesque and monstrous creatures. As you explore the mysterious laboratory, you’ll delve deeper into its secrets, navigating an atmosphere filled with danger and mystery. Controlling Elixia, players can unleash a variety of psychic powers: fire devastating blasts, manipulate objects with telekinesis, cause enemies to implode under pressure, or create protective barriers to block and counter incoming attacks.

Terrifying Enemies and Classic Survival Mechanics

The stalkers hunting you are merciless abominations born from twisted experiments. Their unique abilities make them formidable adversaries, stopping at nothing to hunt you down. Psycho Dead combines traditional survival horror elements — such as limited resources, backtracking, and puzzle-solving — with a dynamic environment that demands quick thinking and adaptability.

Your path to survival is entirely your choice: face your enemies head-on in intense combat or use stealth to evade them. Explore the labyrinthine facility at your own pace, uncovering its dark secrets and confronting the horrors that await. The game is currently in development for PC and PlayStation 5, though no release date has been announced yet.
