FIFA Comes to Football Manager: World Cup Branding, Official Kits, Unity, November 4 Launch

Sports Interactive, SEGA, and FIFA have signed a multi-year licensing agreement that will debut in Football Manager 26: officially named FIFA tournaments, broadcast packages, and—when available—the authentic kits for all 48 FIFA World Cup 26 finalists, as the studio prepares a revamped International Management module for next year.

The deal brings the biggest FIFA competitions to the Football Manager series, starting with the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup, with more tournaments to follow. It coincides with a 2026 content update that introduces an overhauled International Management experience to Football Manager 26, Football Manager 26 Console, and Football Manager 26 Touch ahead of the FIFA World Cup 26 in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

While full feature details are still to come, the licence ensures that—once available—the official kits of all 48 World Cup teams will appear in-game alongside tournament branding and broadcast graphics. Launching worldwide on November 4 and powered for the first time by the Unity engine, Football Manager 26 aims to refresh the entire managerial experience and set a bold new benchmark for Sports Interactive and SEGA’s long-running franchise.

“Revealing this partnership with FIFA is an incredibly historic moment for the studio. Heading into a World Cup year, revamping International Management and making it a much more feature-rich module for our players was important. To be able to do that with FIFA’s support—bringing official licences, tournament broadcast graphics and kits into the game—is a real honor, and we’re delighted our fans will experience it next year. This is just the start—stay tuned for more in 2026 and beyond,” said Miles Jacobson, Sports Interactive studio director, in a press release.

Football Manager 26 launches November 4 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Football Manager 26 Mobile (via Netflix) arrives the same day on iOS and Android, while Football Manager 26 Touch hits Nintendo Switch on December 4.
