TECH NEWS – Through a collaboration between LG Electronics (LG) and Ubisoft, one of the most popular music-and-dance video games, Just Dance Now, will soon be available on LG smart TVs. The official teaser premiered at France’s largest video game show, Paris Games Week 2025, and the game will begin rolling out from December 2025 in North America and Europe via the LG Gaming Portal. Thanks to the partnership, LG Smart TV owners can dance to their favorite Just Dance choreographies without a separate game console.
With more than 135 million players worldwide, Just Dance Now offers choreography for over 500 chart-topping songs. LG Smart TVs running webOS 22 or later will provide easy access to this vast music library. To mark the launch, LG TV owners will have limited-time access to the choreography for Money Pull Up — a track with tens of millions of plays globally — and will be able to play Just Dance Now for free each day during set time windows, giving them a chance to try the dance experience on their TV screens. Those wishing to extend their playtime will be able to choose from subscription and music-bundle options.
Players can enjoy hours of entertainment with family and friends without a separate controller or console, using LG TVs’ motion-sensing Magic Remote. The device tracks movements precisely and mirrors them on screen in real time, ensuring a smooth gameplay experience.
“Our goal is to make the LG Gaming Portal the go-to gaming platform,” said Chris Jo, head of webOS platform for LG’s Home Entertainment business. “By working with leading partners like Ubisoft, we continuously expand our game portfolio and special features to deliver a diverse, immersive gaming experience on LG Smart TVs.”
