Mechano Story Studio and Strategy First will soon bring the puzzle/strategy game, currently in early access on PC, to consoles.

The beloved Ghost Master is back from the other side with a complete modern overhaul – a faithful remake featuring cutting-edge visuals, a new engine, and refined mechanics that crank up the tension of every haunting encounter. You take command of a mischievous army of specters, banshees, and ghouls, all working to strike fear into the hearts of Gravenville’s residents. You will solve puzzles, uncover dark secrets, and master the art of spectral strategy in a unique blend of supernatural tactics and offbeat humor.

Players can summon and control more than a dozen different types of ghosts, each with distinct personalities, powers, and haunting styles, now enhanced with modern AI and impressive detail. Supernatural chaos can be unleashed across eleven intricately reimagined locations, from asylums and sorority houses to secret laboratories and police stations, each packed with new scares and secrets to discover. Clever puzzle-solving and tactical haunting go hand in hand as you complete branching missions, track down hidden content, and unlock the mysteries of the afterlife. It is a full-on haunted revival built on an all-new engine, with modern visuals, refined gameplay systems, and expanded story elements that respect the cult classic while welcoming a new generation of fans.

Ghost Master: Resurrection will leave early access on PC on March 20, having been available there since November 14, 2023, for over a year. The game will launch on the same day for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. A physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Switch will bundle four DLC packs: Until Dawn (explore the new Elm Street map in Until Dawn mode), Ghosts Adrift (haunt the streets of Neibolt Street in Random mode), Ghostly Defense (defend your haunted locations on Ocean Avenue in Defense mode with an improved Pets system), and Ashes & Abyss (face the terrifying new ghosts Bathys and Pyro on the new Marine and Gas Station maps). The digital console editions will also include the Until Dawn and Ghosts Adrift DLC packs.

In other words, the game will remain in early access for a few more months before its full release.
