You may have caught a glimpse of it 10 months ago, but now it is back and looking more explosive than ever. The action and science fiction of FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch are cranked up in Zoopunk, TiGames’ new follow-up that is headed to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series at a yet to be announced date.
Remember Zoopunk? Around 10 months ago, the team at TiGames revealed their new action-heavy sci-fi project set in the FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch universe, using an NVIDIA ACE-powered AI demo to give us a first taste. Since then, the studio has largely stayed silent. Now they are back with an explosive new trailer that drops us straight into that futuristic world ruled by animal heroes and villains, and shows there are plenty of reasons to keep this game firmly on your radar.
Explosive action and a cast that hits hard
TiGames is building Zoopunk for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, although there is still no confirmed launch window. To keep action and sci-fi fans interested, the team has put together a gameplay trailer that, as you can see in the video above, is clearly designed to get players’ hearts racing, with brutal encounters and characters who never hesitate to throw themselves into the thick of the fight.
Between all the visual fireworks, the gameplay also quietly stresses how much control you have over both Zoopunk’s main character and his allies. Rayton, the rabbit and central protagonist, is a well-rounded close-range fighter who wields swords. Trixie, the squirrel, specializes in ranged firepower, while Braton, the rhinoceros, leans on his massive frame to deliver devastating blows with a chainsword-like weapon.
Plenty of details about the overall experience are still under wraps, but with the promise of intense combat, towering bosses, and a lineup of heroes who clearly mean business, TiGames has already managed to whet the appetite of a lot of players. In the coming months, the developers will share more about the adventure and its release plans. For now, it is easy to imagine this gameplay trailer as the opening move in a longer marketing campaign that will lead us right up to launch.
