Exkee and Vertigo Games have now locked in the release date for their reimagining of a classic, and there is a bonus attached for buyers as well.
The legendary The 7th Guest has been revived with modern technology, bringing back its uniquely atmospheric story. Six guests are welcomed into a foreboding mansion, but something sinister is already in motion. The wealthy recluse and toymaker Henry Stauf lurks in the shadows, and a dark force hangs over the house, wrapped in mystery. Who is the seventh guest? What does Henry want from them? And who, if anyone, survives to tell the tale? As players explore the eerie mansion, the puzzles become harder and the danger grows more immediate. Every shadow, distant creak, and flicker of light adds more tension as the house slowly reveals its secrets. The 7th Guest remains the ideal mystery adventure for players who love brain-bending puzzles, haunted exploration, and chilling stories.
Step into the story itself. Using newly recorded volumetric video technology, the performances have been captured fully in 3D, placing players directly inside Henry Stauf’s mansion and at the center of the mystery. Real actors appear within the game world, making every encounter feel immediate and unsettling. The beloved and dreaded haunted mansion comes to life with high-end visuals and carefully redesigned, entirely new handcrafted puzzles. Every puzzle is tightly woven into the narrative and the mansion’s lore, while also including recognisable touches that pay tribute to the original.
The haunted house shifts and transforms around us through premium visuals and clever optical illusions. Explore every creepy corner and hidden space. Unlock new rooms, uncover buried secrets, and keep your mind sharp as the horrors inside begin to move ever closer.
