The Complete Edition includes all content released for the game to date, plus the new story expansions.

Echoes of Sekigahara is the latest narrative expansion. Split between the present day and flashbacks to Atsu’s time on the mainland, it introduces Nagato, a figure from Atsu’s past who has arrived in Ezo. In the present day, players will explore a previously unseen valley that was once inhabited by the Snake and his gang of loyal followers, the Vipers. In the past, we will experience Atsu’s time at the Battle of Sekigahara, witnessing a pivotal moment in her life before she returned home on a quest for vengeance. We will meet new enemies and find new heavy weapons, armour sets, dyes and more. Most Wanted is a brand new single-player combat survival mode — Sucker Punch’s take on the roguelike genre. Players accept bounties to start new runs, earning perks and unlocking additional characters as they take down enemies. They’ll reveal more soon, but as we can see in today’s trailer, Atsu is a master of the dual katana, Oyuki excels with the kusarigama and Nagato shines with the yari.

If we haven’t experienced Atsu’s journey yet, we can purchase the Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition for $70 (also available in physical format). As well as Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted, this includes the award-winning Ghost of Yotei main game, as well as Ghost of Yotei Legends. This is an online cooperative experience supporting up to four players, with multiple gameplay modes culminating in a raid. If we purchase the Complete Edition, we can start playing the main game and Ghost of Yotei Legends immediately, while Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted will be available to download with a patch on 1 October. The Complete Edition also includes all the in-game content that was previously included in the Digital Deluxe Edition, as well as the Charm of Hokkyokusei. If we purchase it before 30 September, we will also receive an early unlock of the Sakai Armour for Atsu to wear on 1 October, a nod to Jin’s family armour from Ghost of Tsushima.

If we already own Ghost of Yotei, we can get Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted by purchasing the Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition Upgrade for $15. If we don’t already own the Digital Deluxe Edition or the Charm of Hokkyokusei, we’ll unlock that content immediately upon pre-ordering. If we pre-order by 30 September, we’ll also get the early unlock of the Sakai Armour on 1 October. In addition to the new content listed above, the Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition features new tracks for Watanabe Mode, which will play throughout the game when the mode is enabled. There are also new Photo Mode stamps, additional cosmetics for New Game+, and new Trophies for both Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted.

A new patch on 1 October will add the Beauty of Yotei mode to Ghost of Yotei, allowing players to enjoy a screensaver-like view of Ezo’s environments at home and take stunning new Photo Mode captures. This update is available to all Ghost of Yotei owners, even those who have not purchased the Complete Edition upgrade. The update will also introduce new quality-of-life features, including the ability to maintain an armour set’s appearance while using a different set’s stats, and a new high-contrast accessibility option.

The Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition will launch on 1 October for the PlayStation 5. On that day, a free update including Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted will also be released.
