Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3: Fight in Your Own Style [VIDEO]

The new game from Dimps and Bandai Namco allows you to fully customize your fighting style.

The new trailer introduces the six races that players can choose from when creating their fighter: Earthling, Saiyan, Namekian, Frieza Race, Majin, and Android. Players can customize their character’s appearance, inherit powerful techniques from Super Fighters, and select a fighting style based on the movements and abilities of 130 heroes. Every choice shapes your journey and defines how you will face the challenges ahead and develop your character in this new adventure to build the ultimate fighter.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 delivers a brand new Dragon Ball world, brought to life by the series’ original author, Akira Toriyama. The game is set in the unexplored AGE 1000 era. Players will explore West City, a vibrant new setting where original stories unfold. They will join the Great Saiya Squad and fight alongside allies as mysterious events begin to unfold. This story-driven RPG takes Dragon Ball fans on an action-packed adventure through a new universe with a new cast of characters and a whole new world and future to discover.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, Ki is at the center of every fight. Players can drain an opponent’s Ki through combos, charged attacks, and Ki Drain–type Super Attacks. This forces enemies into Ki Break status, leaving them vulnerable to Break Smash. This devastating finisher deals significantly more damage than standard Super Attacks. Super Attacks come in multiple types, each with its own secondary effect. Ultimate Attacks unleash powerful, cinematic blows once their gauge is filled. Each character’s Battle Style influences their moves and combos, allowing players to fight using techniques inspired by legendary warriors such as Goku and Vegeta.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is set to release in 2027 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
