Ripstone Publishing made a lots of announcements this week of their release dates for their summer lineup of games. What is relevant to us however is Pure Pool, a PlayStation 4 game, which is touted as a hyper-realistic Pool game from VooFoo Studios, the makers of Pure Chess, Hustle Kings, and other titles.
This will be actually a beginning for VooFoo’s as it will be their very first game on the PS4. Also, for the first time, VooFoo will be bringing real-time, online multiplayer gaming mode to a Pure title in Pure Pool. What’s more: Pure Pool will also allow you to play against friends even when they’re not online. How is this achieved? We’d like to think it’s some Pool Hall voodoo, but VooFoo and Ripstone insist that the game learns how you play through its DNA Profile system, allowing this feat to be achieved.
Pure Pool will be available in the US on July 29th and Europe the following day.
