While rumors are about how Ubisoft will skip 2016’s main Assassin’s Creed game (they’ll have a movie out in December, though), it’s not going to affect the 2.5D spinoff Chronicles trilogy. Its first episode – the Chinese one – has been out for a while now, but the story is going to progress very soon, as the second episode – playing in India – will drop by shortly.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India will have a new Assassin called Arbaaz Mir. Mr. Mir will attack the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 12. Its pricing will show that Climax Studios (the devs of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories) and Ubisoft Montreal won’t provide us a full-fledged AC experience, but it’s not that pricey in return – the episode costs 10 dollars.
Despite that, the game looks okay – it reminds us of Prince of Persia and for good reason. The trilogy’s final, Russian installment will be available from February 9, and the entire trilogy will get onto the PlayStation Vita on April 5 – the handheld needs some decent games, so credit where due. (However, the subtitles on the video below has a few typos, so GG Ubisoft!)
