Codemasters‘ Birmingham studio is preparing their seventh Formula-1 game outing. The company announced that they are working on F1 2016.
The new installment will improve in many ways over its predecessor: for example, the career mode will last not five, but ten seasons, and it will have our created driver instead of one of the actual pilots of the current season. Safety Car, Virtual Safety Car (drivers must slow down, no overtaking allowed!), as well as a new race track in Baku, Azerbaijan. This circuit seems to be a bit too tight at some points.
Also, „A rich car upgrade system is fully integrated into a new and deep practice development program which mirrors the tests carried out by the teams in real life.”
Codemasters hasn’t announced the release date yet, but the game will be out this summer on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The box art shows the defending world champion, Lewis Hamilton in the center.
