Electronic Arts and Star Wars will be impossible to separate from each other for a few years, as the publisher will use Disney’s license until it can.
This thought is also proven by Jade Raymond. Her studio (Motive Studios), and Visceral Games (she’s the group manager for both teams) also work on a new Star Wars title. Raymond, who hit the spotlight with Assassin’s Creed, has multiple Star Wars marshmallows held to the fire. However, Motive didn’t forget about their new IP, which is possibly Electronic Arts’ answer to Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed, as they are working on that game, too.
If we’re lucky, we might hear more details of one of these Star Wars games next weekend at EA Play. There will be a Battlefront 2, but not this year – DICE is now focusing on the development of Battlefield 1.
Will the Republic Commando sequel rumors be proven as true?
