[E3 2016] Brand New Details About The Two New Xboxes [VIDEO]

During E3, Microsoft revealed the Xbox One S, and announced Project Scorpio, the stronger console as well.

Let’s start with Project Scorpio – you can see its announcement video below the article. Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, had a bold comment about the powerful console: you will have to get a 4K television. That’s not that common yet, so you have to put some cash away to get the Scorpio + TV duo. „We designed the Scorpio az a 4K console. If you don’t have a 4K TV for it, you will not see the benefits of the Scorpio. This console is for the people who have a 4K TV and want 4K gaming. This is another reason why it will cost more than the Xbox One S.”

Let’s talk about the Xbox One S then, too. The smaller Xbox, which will have HDR, and 4K video play support, will also get a mouse shortly. Spencer says it’s just a matter of months (Gamescom announcement?), but there are also keyboards for the devkits.

You might ask how much of a difference is there between the original X1 and the X1S? The architecture is the same, and despite the CPU and the GPU having higher clock speeds, there isn’t any significant difference.
