The end of July? Nope; Batman: Return to Arkham will not be available in a month, according to Gematsu.
Return to Arkham, which is aimed at Xbox One and PlayStation 4-owners, as the compilation ports Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City to the current-gen is delayed indefinitely! The announcement happened just a month before the originally planned release date. As a WB Games staff member writes, „After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience. We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready. We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.”
WB Games seems to be in a rut. Mortal Kombat X had a bad start on PC, but while NetherRealm’s game got on its legs, the second Kombat Pack wasn’t even released for this platform; then Arkham Knight had such an awful launch that the PC port had to be taken off the shelves. Are consoles getting screwed over, too?
We’ll have to wait to see how much Return to Arkham will get delayed.
